FAQ's

Got a question? You’re not alone. We’ve pulled together answers to some of the most common questions we’re asked about bunting, flagging, artwork, materials, lead times and ordering. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, our team is always happy to help.

Production & Quality

Yep — proudly so. We’ve been manufacturing right here in Australia since 1984, and all our products are made in-house at our Sunshine Coast workshop.

From custom printed bunting to safety flagging and backstroke flags, we keep things local. It means better quality, faster turnaround, and support for Aussie jobs — all things we care about (and we know you do too).

Not exactly — but we get pretty darn close!

All our printing is done in CMYK, which can look a little different to what you see on your screen. If your artwork arrives in RGB or PMS, we’ll convert it to CMYK before printing.

Because different materials, printers and laminations all have their own little personalities, small colour variations can happen.

Once you’ve approved your artwork, we’ll print it as close as commercially possible — so refunds aren’t available for colour shifts that fall within normal, industry-standard variation.

Design & Artwork Process

Yes. All of our bunting products can be customised to suit your needs.

  • Safety bunting and backstroke flagging can be printed with any logo, warning symbol or approved design, making them ideal for construction sites, schools, aquatic centres, events and regulated safety zones.
  • Custom printed promotional, sporting and event bunting offers full creative freedom, with full‑colour logos, custom designs, any shape, and any size available to match your brand or event.

Absolutely. We know not everyone has the time, tools or designers on standby — so we make it easy for everyone. Whether you’ve got print-ready artwork or you need the whole shebang, we’ve got you covered.

Let us know your design requirements and we’ll provide a customised quote based on your needs.

And the best part?
Your artwork layout and print-ready proof are completely FREE — every single time.

Yes — absolutely. For all custom-printed products, we’ll send you a digital proof to review and approve before anything heads into production. It’s your chance to double-check colours, layout, spelling… the whole shebang.

Once everything is signed off, we fire up the printers and get your order underway.

Once you hit “approved,” your artwork heads straight into production — which means we can’t make any changes after that point. So be sure to give everything a good final check before signing off.

Order Fulfillment

Yes, our minimum order for custom printed bunting is 20m and 50m for vinyl and pennant.

Yes. About Bunting regularly produces bunting for national retail campaigns, events and large scale installations.

Because every order is custom made, dispatch times generally fall between 5–7 days, plus delivery.

If you’re working to a deadline, just let us know — we’ll do our best to shuffle our production board and make it happen.

Very rarely, things like public holidays or unexpected delays can slow things down, but we’ll always keep you in the loop.

Logistics & Shipping

All our orders are dispatched from Sunshine Coast, QLD.

Shipping times can vary, but we generally allow around 2 business days for East Coast metro deliveries. Once your order has been crafted, packed and dispatched, it’s in the hands of the courier — and while they’re usually speedy, delays can happen. Something to keep in mind when planning your timeline.

At this stage, we’re unable to deliver to PO Boxes. All orders must be shipped to a physical street address to ensure safe and reliable delivery of your bunting or flagging.

Yes, we do. However, deliveries to rural or remote locations may incur additional freight charges. If your delivery address is outside a major metro area, we’ll confirm any extra costs with you before dispatch.

Yes. We deliver to New Zealand and throughout the South Pacific. Get in touch with our team for delivery options, timeframes and a tailored freight quote.
