Built from premium, UV stable materials, our flags are made to stay bright and crisp. Choose your lengths and quantity and upload your design, then leave the rest to us. The result? A functional safety essential that doubles as a seriously sleek branding moment.

- High quality blockout Vinyl
- Flag size 200x 250mm as standard. Please contact us for a quote on 200 x 300mm if you require a larger size.
- Single Sided print or Double Sided print
- 200mm spacing in between flags
- Flags double stitched into white header tape with twine inside for extra strength
- 2m tie ends each for installation

How it works
1. Choose your lengths, quantity and printing options. Pick your pool flag lengths and quantity and if you need single sided or double sided printing. If you choose single sided, we can alternate the flags when we sew it, so you get a double sided effect, at a more cost effective price! We can show you in your free proof!
2. Download our template & add your design (or let us help.) Download our artwork template and drop your logo, colours, or branding straight into it so everything fits perfectly. If you’re unable to provide artwork on the supplied template, we can also accept EPS files or Adobe Illustrator (AI) files. If your files require any setup or adjustments, we offer optional design assistance for an extra fee – perfect if you want us to polish things up. We’ll review everything first and reach out should this be the case.
3. Upload & Approve Your Proof. Upload your completed template or logo files with your order. We’ll check it over, then send you a free layout proof and print ready file to review. Make any tweaks you need, then give us the thumbs up when it’s perfect.
4. Printed & ready to display. Once approved, we print your backstroke flags in vibrant colour on premium materials, double stitch it into durable header tape, and deliver it – ready to unpack, hang and show off.
Artwork Specifications
- Use our downloadable template to drop your artwork into.
- Convert all text to outlines – no font surprises later.
- Use of vector art is recommended
- Add 5mm bleed – gives us room to trim neatly.
- CMYK only, please – it’s how all our printing is done.
- Rich black recipe we love: 40% C / 40% M / 40% Y / 100% K.
- Send as a high res press‑ready PDF – it keeps everything crisp.
- For the most accurate colour – always trust CMYK not your screen (they like to make things look brighter than reality!).

What Lengths Should You Order?
These are the most common widths – (metres shown relate to the actual width of the pool)
6 lane pool: 15.5m wide plus 2m tie ends (set of 2 – 31m total)
8 lane pool: 20m wide plus 2m tie ends – (set of 2 – 40m total)
10 lane pool: 25m wide plus 2 m tie ends (set of 2 – 50m total)
If you have a different width to the standard widths, ensure you measure the width across the pool where the water is. Please measure carefully before ordering.
How Do You Mount Backstroke Flags?
Here’s the quick guide:
Stanchions: Flags must be hung from fixed stanchions installed on both sides of the pool.
Tails: Allow 2‑metre tails so the flags don’t hang over walkways.
Distance from the end pool wall: Flags should sit 5.0 metres from each end.
Height: The flagged rope sits 1.8 m to 2.5 m above the water surface.
